About Me

Hi there and welcome to my website.

My name is Jamie and I am an Independent Ofsted Registered Childminder based in Hyde, Cheshire.

I live with my husband and young son and I work from our family home, which also has a large fully enclosed garden. Prior to becoming a childminder I worked as a Community Carer and an Auxiliary Nurse / Phlebotomist in a busy trauma unit. I also spent time at university training as a Secondary School Mathematics Teacher.

I have always enjoyed spending time and working with children and when my son was born I was presented with the opportunity to pursue a new career in childminding.

I am fully paediatric first aid trained and I also hold an enhanced DBS disclosure, safeguarding training and I am a registered and trained provider of the EYFS.

I regularly attend local playgroups, soft play centres, parks, libraries and national trust sites as well as organising a number of activities within my own home.
